At an age when most teenagers are trying to get a licence to drive a car, 18-year-old George King now has his licence to drive steam and diesel locomotives.

People who used the Dunedin Railway Station overbridge, which was demolished by a container on a railway wagon on February 12, can expect to be taking the long way round for a long time yet.
Some commuters who park on the harbour side of the Dunedin Railway Station will have a longer walk to their workplaces while the city council considers a replacement pedestrian bridge.
