Two injured in east Chch crash

Emergency services were at the scene of a two car crash in east Christchurch which injured two people this morning.

The crash happened on the corner of Ensors and Ferry Rds about 7.30am.

Fire and Emergency New Zealand spokeswoman Lyn Crosson said reports from the person who called 111 said two cars were involved.

St John New Zealand spokesman Gerard Campbell said one person was moderately injured and another has minor injuries. Both were treated at the scene.

Crosson said two fire crews attended the scene but no one had to be cut from the vehicles.

The crash site has now been cleared.
