The first five had a sublime second half to the NPC season.

Consistent blindside flanker Sam Fischli won forward of the year, while electric winger Freedom Vahaakolo won back of the year.
The Otago "David Crazy Latta" Award, as chosen by the players, went to men’s captain Lentjes.
The Otago season members player of the year went to Vahaakolo.
Fabian Holland and Teilah Ferguson won the men’s and women’s academy players of the year.
