The youngest of the young are bringing the sights, sounds and scents of Polynesia to the 15th Mīharo Murihiku Polyfest stage at Stadium Southland this week.
To celebrate the 15-year milestone, two additional showcases were added.
Pleased parents armed with their cameras crowded the front of the stage to capture their little ones in all their polynesian glory.
More than 5000 performers are expected to perform, including in a special section for adults this year.
Organisers of Polyfest promised to deliver its best programme yet.

"We know our Māori and Pasifika whanau perform intergenerationally, and so we wanted to provide an opportunity to get on the stage with your nannie," Polyfest programme and events lead Peta Kuresa said.

Murihiku Polyfest is Mīharo’s biggest annual event and is a week-long festival for cultural performing arts.
