‘Great sense of humour’ at 104

Resthaven Village resident Ivy Hannah celebrates her 104th birthday in Gore on Saturday with a family afternoon tea.

Daughter Muriel, of Gore, said although her mother was not quite as mobile as she had been, she was keeping well and enjoying life.

"She still has a great sense of humour and is much loved by her children, 22 grandchildren, 44 great-grandchildren and 11 great-great-grandchildren.

"We are very proud of our mum."
