Wellington indie rockers the Phoenix Foundation are tipped to return to Queenstown in May.
The date and ticket price are yet to be finalised, but Revolver will host the band for the third time.
Revolver owner John Stapleton described the six-piece's sound as "pop-acid rock blurring almost into German trance, but definitely danceable".
The first single and title track from the band's fourth album, Buffalo, will be released on April 26.
It is available as a free download, along with an exclusive non-album B-side, from www.thephoenixfoundation.co.nz until March 17.
Dunedin "party rockers" Black Boy Peaches promote their seven track EP, titled Slasher, at Dux de Lux on Saturday, March 27.
Singer-guitarist Hamish Mepham, guitarist-keyboardist Tom Mepham, bass player Adam Murray and drummer Jackson Rodeka formed in 2009.
They count Muse, the Killers and Paramore among their influences.
"We love to put on what we call high-energy party rock," Tom Mepham said.
"We love crafting songs and putting on a great performance."
Their debut as-yet-untitled album is expected in November.
