Six women from Central Otago are presenting their work, created after a two-day workshop last year, conducted by Irish textile artist Ann Fleeton.

Finished works and examples of technique elements, with descriptions, are on show.

"When we applied for funds for the workshop, we promised to share what we learnt. It was a very inspiring teacher, so we are happy to show what it takes to create the artwork," Ms Bitcheno said.

• Inspiration for Design Exhibition, Cloakroom Gallery, Stanley St. Open 10am to 4pm Friday-Sunday this week and Thursday-Friday next week.
