New Zealand Experience Ltd, operator of Rainbow's End theme park, has reported a $572,000 profit in the six months to December 31, down 3 percent on last year.
The company is not paying an interim dividend.
Visitor numbers fell 500 to 144,000, but revenue per customer improved so that total revenue increased 2 percent to $4.8 million.
A reduction in visits from corporate customers in the lead up to Christmas was offset somewhat by the successful opening of the new Invader ride on December 10.
