WEDNESDAY, JANUARY 27
• Michael Hill New Zealand Open Pro-Am at The Hills. The top-ranked 60 professionals partner invited amateur guests around 18 holes morning and afternoon.

THURSDAY, JANUARY 28
• 92nd New Zealand Open begins, in a co-sanction agreement with the Australasian Tour and the Nationwide Tour, with a prize purse of more than $NZ830,000 million ($US580,000). The Hills will host 156 players.

• Queenstown Chamber of Commerce business luncheon featuring guest speakers entrepreneur Michael Hill, director of player services on the PGA (Professional Golfers Association) Nationwide Tour Marty Caffey and broadcasters Peter Williams and Philip Leishman. Skyline Gondola and Restaurant at 12.30pm. Tickets cost $35 for chamber members and $45 for non-members. Ticket prices include a buffet meal and gondola ride.

• Bayleys Royal New Zealand Foundation of the Blind's Guide Dog Services auction at corporate hospitality and merchandising enclosure at The Hills (next to the 13th fairway) at 5pm. Free to enter, feel free to bid.

FRIDAY, JANUARY 29
• New Zealand Open, round two - The cut will be made this evening where the top 60 players and ties will contest the weekend's action.

• Artists on The Green showcases some of the region's top artists' work, including paintings, pottery, wood-turning and hand-crafted jewellery and glass beads. Buckingham Green, Arrowtown, from 9am to 5pm. Free entry. All items available for purchase.

• For those of you who would like to be entertained by some of Queenstown's best musicians and help raise money for a good cause, Rock 4 Haiti will be raising money for the Haiti earthquake appeal, featuring The Lynch Mob, The Flaming Drivers, The G.Cs and several other bands. Village Green, Queenstown, from 12.30pm till 8.30pm. Free entry, donations to the Haiti appeal gratefully received.

SATURDAY, JANUARY 30
• 8am: Michael Hill New Zealand Open, round three. Moving day - with the cut now made, the top 60 plus ties play the final two rounds over the weekend.

• Arrowtown Market Day featuring more than 50 stalls from local art and craft producers. This event will also be raising money for the Arrowtown Volunteer Fire Brigade. Library Green, Arrowtown, from 9am till 5pm. Free entry. All items available for purchase.

SUNDAY, JANUARY 31
• 8am: New Zealand Open, final round. Watch the final day's drama unfold, then make your way to the party on Main Street to enjoy refreshments.

• Official opening of Coronet Nine, Millbrook's new golf course. Coronet Nine will be officially opened by Prime Minister John Key. Also in attendance will be course designer and former New Zealand touring professional Greg Turner, BBC golf commentator Peter Alliss, five-time British Golf Open winner Peter Thomson and Millbrook owner Eiichi Ishii. 10am at Millbrook.

• Thursday-Sunday
Adults: $33; concession: $28; car parking: $9.

• Season pass - access to all five days
Adults: $88; concession: $73; car parking: $45.

Children under the age of 15 will be given free entry. However, they must be accompanied by a paying adult.
