Queenstown police this morning found the body of a Queenstown community leader missing since Wednesday.
Sergeant Brian Cameron told NZPA the body of Garry Bradshaw, 66, a prominent member of the Fernhill Sunshine Bay Community Association, was found about 10am only 500m from his home.
He was in steep terrain, which was covered in fallen trees, near Two Mile Creek.
Police have referred the death to the coroner.
