Queenstown police are investigating three reports of alleged indecent behaviour towards minors, alleged to have happened on Friday
Detective Grant Miller, of Queenstown, said a 13-year-old boy skateboarding about 1pm at a car park on Joe O'Connell Dr, near the Events Centre in Frankton, was approached by a man who allegedly made an indecent suggestion.
The teenager walked away and alerted an adult at the Events Centre.
The man was described as Caucasian, with short brown hair, and aged between 30 and 40.
He was driving a white van, similar to a Toyota Hi-Ace or a Mitsubishi Delica.
While investigating this incident, police received reports of two more cases of alleged indecent behaviour at Alpine Aqualand at the Event Centre, during the `Wild About Water Pool Party' between 11.30am and 1.30pm.
"It appears there have been two incidents at the pool, where an adult man had acted inappropriately towards children.
"A parent had reacted to this, and there was an altercation between the parent and the man," Det Miller said.
We would very much like to hear from this parent, or from anyone else present at the swimming pool who might have witnessed anything suspicious."
Det Miller said it was not known if the incidents were linked.
