A vehicle which rolled south of Pahiatua tonight killed one of its occupants.
The crash happened at about 7.40pm and the person died at the scene, on State Highway 2, about 60km east of Palmerston North,.
Police, fire and ambulance services attended and the road was closed for a short period whwile police carried out a scene examination.
The cause of crash was not immediately available, and police were still investigating tonight.
