Lou Vincent and former international teammate Scott Styris have been included in a 13-strong Auckland squad to play Wellington in tomorrow's national one-day cricket championship match at Auckland.
Auckland coach Paul Strang said a squad of 13 were named to give them time to decide on whether Styris can play tomorrow.
He has been nursing a shoulder strain and passed a fitness test this morning but the selectors will wait until the morning to confirm his place in the team.
Vincent, just arrived back from England, last played for Auckland in the 2007/08 season.
Auckland have won their opening two games but Strang is not taking anything for granted.
"We've seen some great individual performances get us home in the last two encounters so I think we're still searching for that great team performance."
Auckland squad to play Wellington tomorrow at Colin Maiden Park: Reece Young, Tim McIntosh, Richard Jones, Ravi Bopara, Gareth Hopkins, Scott Styris, Lou Vincent, Andrew de Boorder , Ronnie Hira, Daryl Tuffey, Michael Bates, Bhupinder Singh, Richard Sherlock.
