Career diplomat Andrew Needs has been appointed New Zealand's new High Commissioner to Canada.
Mr Needs, who will also be cross-accredited to Barbados, Guyana, Jamaica and Trinidad and Tobago when he takes the role up early next year, will replace the retiring Kate Lackey.
