Residents of the Glendale and Belhaven rest-homes listened to a choir singing and were treated to an array of instruments, including violins, xylophones and guitars, being played.
School music teacher Alison Caldwell said the pupils had been looking forward to the performance for "weeks and weeks".
Arthur (90) and Gladys (83) Morris were part of the group of Glendale Retirement Home residents at the performance.
"They were such a lovely group. The school and their parents should be very proud. We should see more of this. It made for a really enjoyable day," Mrs Morris said.
