The 44-year-old actress shot her first naked sequence for new movie The Proposal and was too tired to worry when a strategically-placed cover-up fell away during filming.
She said: "Shooting it was odd. There are things stuck to areas that generally you don't have things stuck to. I mean, you have things covering your body, but not stuck to it. And then they got unstuck, and oddly we didn't care because we were so tired."
Sandra was determined to get in shape for the film after discovering she would have to uncover her curves for the role. She explained at a press conference: "When you read it on the page, you saw it, and then you realised, 'OK, there is no way to shoot this unless you arebuck naked!' Then I said to myself, 'Go to the gym, cut out the carbs!' "
Although The Proposal focuses on a couple who fall in love, Sandra refuses to class the movie as a romantic comedy.
Although she will not name which ones, the actress admits she regrets starring in several films of that genre and will never accept a role in a stereotypical romantic comedy again.
Sandra - who has previously starred in Miss Congeniality, While You Were Sleeping and Two Weeks Notice - said: "I stopped doing them. They are terrible, they are bad. They are not funny, so they shouldn't be classed as romantic comedies and most of the time they are not romantic.
"I love my comedy too much to ruin it with bad romantic comedy. So I was like, 'I'm going to find another way to work and do it in a way that I love.' So I'm not calling this a romantic comedy."
