Festival director Sally Feinerman said for four weeks only, most ticket prices would be lower than in 2008.
"It makes great sense to buy early, particularly for those who attend several events over the 10-day period."
This year, New Zealand jazz musician Nathan Haines would headline at the Jazz Night on July 4 at the Skyline complex.
Frank Gibson would also appear upstairs while downstairs the boys from Six60 and hypnotic fusion band The Little Bushmen, headed by ex-Trinity Roots member Warren Maxstage, would be rounded off by the seven-piece reggae/roots band Cornerstone Roots.
The American Express Great Comedy Debate on June 29 will feature MC Jeremy Corbett, comedians Dai Henwood, Te Radar, Paul Ego and actor Oliver Driver.
Ms Feinerman said New Zealand chef Al Brown would be back with a demonstration at Millbrook Resort on July 1.
The "glamour event" of the festival, The Lindauer Diamond Masquerade Ball, would be the perfect event for people to dress up, don a mask, slip on some dancing shoes and celebrate the festival's 35th birthday, "Queenstown-style".
The early bird offers are valid until May 2, through www.winterfestival.co.nz; 0800 FESTIVAL and Ticket Direct.
