The Phoenix Foundation and the Datsuns are to perform at Revolver in Queenstown this month.

In its first full New Zealand tour since 2007, the Phoenix Foundation will mix songs from its three existing albums, with new material from its fourth studio album, due for release later this year.

Support on the tour will come from Double Ya D!, as well as other guests.

The six-piece Wellington alternative rock outfit performs at Revolver on Friday, April 17, with doors opening at 8.30pm.

Tickets cost $21 from Play it Again Records.

Kiwi rockers the Datsuns will storm the stage on Sunday, April 26, the 10th and final date of their first domestic tour in more than a year.

They are supported by the Randoms, tickets are $33 and also available from Play It Again.

To whet music lovers' appetites, Wakatipu rockers the Flaming Drivers and the John Armless Trio perform tonight, and the Nomad is on stage tomorrow night.

Revolver's Easter offering will include live music from Olmecha Supreme, Pass The Sauce, Blackplanet, Dr Blade and the Medicine Men, the Flaming Drivers and Made In China, from April 9-12, pending a special licence.

Tickets cost $10 for entry to all three nights, from Play it Again.

Reggae-influenced soul singer Hannah Howes, originally of Dunedin, graces the stage on April 18; stand-up comedy returns between April 22 and April 25; Harbour City Electric plays April 24 and Christchurch rock band Doppler plays on Anzac Day.
