Silver Fern Farms gets bank waiver

Silver Fern Farms announced yesterday it has a bank waiver for not complying with its minimum shareholder's funds covenant last December.

The meat company's chief executive Keith Cooper said it had notified the New Zealand Stock Exchange, as required, that it had received a waiver for that non-compliance.

Silver Fern Farms has previously said that it has secured all its necessary banking requirements for this year.

It has $125 million in bonds on issue in two tranches which mature this month and December next year.
