Sections of next week's crucial Dunedin City Council meeting to decide the fate of the $188 million stadium project could be off-limits to the public, council staff say.
Commercially sensitive material contained in the Carisbrook Stadium Trust report - as in previous quarterly reports - could prompt councillors to move into a public-excluded session, council communications co-ordinator Rodney Bryant said.
"We have got no way of knowing until we see the [CST] report," he said.
Other changes announced yesterday meant the meeting start time was set for 10.30am, not 11am as previously advised.
However, the start time could be delayed if the finance and strategy committee meeting starting at 9am dragged on, he said.
The council meeting to consider the CST report would also be considering a resumption of Monday's adjourned budget hearings, rather than an extraordinary full council meeting, he said.
