Police reported a quiet weekend in Wanaka, with just two arrests and one incident of unexplained nudity recorded in the incidents book.
Constable Mike Thomas said a 36-year-old Makarora man was arrested on Friday for breaching his bail and appeared in the Queenstown District Court on that matter on Saturday.
On Saturday, police arrested and charged a 31-year-old man with disorderly behaviour arising from an incident in a bar on Friday night.
While patrolling the town at 3am on Saturday, police saw three naked men running across Lismore Park. The men had emerged out of some trees, carrying their clothes, and ran off when the police drove past, Const Thomas said.
The police did not find the men or discover what they had been up to but suspected they were intoxicated.
