A woman in Milton was taken to Dunedin Hospital today after a chimney fire.
A Fire Service spokesman said firefighters from Milton were called to a chimney fire in Johnson St, Milton just before 5pm.
The chimney was blocked and smoke filled the house.
A woman living at the house inhaled some of the smoke and was taken by ambulance to Dunedin Hospital.
St John spokesman Ian Henderson said the woman had moderate injuries.
