Their small market, held on the first Sunday of each month, has been running for six months, and Ms Abbott said they had every intention of continuing.
"We call it the free market economy," she said, because people did not have to pay for stalls, something that was inclined to put stall holders off.
''The market was held in the garden of their home, a former Roman Catholic church, and attracted about 20 stalls and up to 100 visitors.
"It's for people who like to give it a go.
"We don't have public transport, so it's good when small communities make their own fun."
