Warm fuzzies

Phil Scorringe, his bearded son-in-law Steve Havard and a hefty group of other bikers gathered up children's toys for donation and headed to the Octagon on Saturday for the 32nd annual Bikers Rights Organisation New Zealand (Bronz) Otago toy run.

The toys were collected by the Dunedin North Lions Club.

Mr Scorringe, who is president of Bronz Otago, said the run gave everyone ''the warm fuzzy feeling''.

About 120 bikes participated in the run, down from about 200 last year.
