The Salvation Army is worried a disturbing trend is emerging after experiencing numerous times in the past month.
The Salvation Army's West Auckland coolstore, which stores donated meat, has been broken into twice, a van has been stolen, and two other vehicles vandalised.
A Salvation Army spokesman told One News it could be the start of a disturbing trend.
There was an increase in demand for food compared to last year, he said.
