Remarkables Park Town Centre leasing manager Mary-Jo Hudson said the addition of an educational facility at the centre expanded the appeal of the area.
SIT had leased a 380sq m area on the first floor of Dart House, which already housed Postie + and the New Zealand Immigration Service, which opened on Monday.
Ms Hudson said SIT had taken out a long-term lease on the building and was the most recent tenant to the building, which was now full on the ground level and nearly full on the first floor.
In coming weeks, Work and Income New Zealand would move "lock, stock and barrel" to Dart House, vacating its Queenstown CBD site.
The Bank of New Zealand and Canterbury NZ were also due to open a supplementary bases in Dart House next month, she said.
