The jury in the bus hub murder trial will hear closing arguments by lawyers for the Crown and defence today.
The 14-year-old defendant, who has interim name suppression, has spent the past two weeks on trial in the High Court at Dunedin following the fatal stabbing of 16-year-old Enere Taana-McLaren in May.
He pleaded not guilty on the basis of self-defence, or that he did not form the requisite intent to be convicted of murder.
After closings, Justice Rob Osborne will sum up the case before jurors begin deliberating. — APL
