New Zealand figure skater Yanhao "Dwayne" Li has finished the season with another record-breaking result.
Li gave New Zealand its first top-10 finish at a world championship event when he placed 10th at the International Skating Union world junior championships in Hungary. That earned two spots for New Zealand male skaters to compete next year.
Described as a "crowd favourite" due to his impressive combination of technical prowess and performance skills, Li landed seven triple jumps in his free skate, including the renowned triple axel in combination.
Petra Lahti competed in the women’s event and placed 41st.
