The New Zealand under-20 men’s team opened their division 3, group A world championships campaign in Istanbul with a 5-0 win over Mexico yesterday.
Markus Macdonald (two), Jacob Carey, Axel Ruski-Jones and Cian Murray scored goals for the Junior Ice Blacks, while Stampede forward Ruski-Jones added three assists.
