An unplanned outage left a large number of Central Otago households without power yesterday.
A total of 166 Aurora Energy customers from Roxburgh to Beaumont Station Rd were affected, Aurora’s website said.
The power cut began about 10.30am and was resolved at 2.16pm.
Earlier, Aurora said the reason was a line patrol in progress. However, that was later updated to "third-party interference". — APL
