The Dunedin outreach service, which was established earlier this year in Mosgiel, is proving its worth.
The weekly clinic, which began in March, is held at the Mosgiel Library every Wednesday from 11.30am-1.30pm.
The Otago Justice of the Peace Association holds a weekly clinic at the same time.
CAB manager Ngaire Duke, of Dunedin, said the services worked well together, as there was growing demand for JPs to sign documents.
Mrs Duke said use of the service had been steady but there was ''room for it to grow''.
Mrs Duke, who is also a JP, said people preferred to visit public places, rather than private homes, for document signing.
The bureau had not had a Mosgiel outreach service previously, but it made sense with a growing population.
Many residents were elderly, and the weekly service could save them a trip to Dunedin.
''There is a lot of potential for the service in Mosgiel.
''It's just a matter of getting the word out there,'' Mrs Duke said.
