The White Ferns have snapped their 10-game T20 losing streak with a comfortable eight-wicket win over South Africa in a World Cup warm-up game in Dubai.

New Zealand’s spin trio of Eden Carson, Leigh Kasperek and Melie Kerr teamed up to take eight wickets and roll the South Africans for a measly 92 runs on Sunday night.

Carson (two for 21) removed both openers and Kasperek (three for seven) and Kerr (three for 13) ripped through the majority of the rest of the batting order.

South African captain Laura Wolvaardt tried to lead a fightback with 33 from 37 balls, and Annerie Dercksen (19) put up some resistance as well.

The White Ferns breezed through the chase. Kerr scored a run-a-ball 37 and captain Sophie Devine whacked 35 not out from 24 balls.

Victory was sealed in the 15th over.

It was a good win for the White Ferns. South Africa made the 2023 final and are expected to feature strongly again.

Australia and India also registered wins in their warm-up games.

Australia posted a 33-run victory over England.

Opener Beth Mooney clubbed 50 from 30 balls to help Australia accumulate 162 for six.

England replied with 129.

Tahlia McGrath did the damage with the ball for Australia, nabbing three for 18, and also clipped a rapid 31.

India beat the West Indies by 20 runs in the other warm-up.

They put on 141 for eight.

Jemimah Rodrigues smacked 52 from 40 in a 50-run stand with Yastika Bhatia (24).

Hayley Matthews was the best of the Windies bowlers, with four for 17, while Chinelle Henry scored 59 not out and tried to tow her team through to the win.

Pooja Vastrakar took three for 20 to help India clinch the win.
