Threesixty restaurant's new guest chef Phil Ryan puts the finishing touches on a basil panna cotta from the Queenstown restaurant's fusion menu.
A New Zealand chef with a background in international cuisine will be bringing a new level of fusion dining to Queenstown's threesixty restaurant.

Guest chef Phil Ryan will be working with threesixty's executive chef Joji Iwama, weaving his culinary magic by introducing new ideas and tastes to the menu.

Food and Beverage operations manager Dan Smith said Mr Ryan brought an international flavour to the restaurant.

This resulted in a transition from "east meets west fusion cuisine, to a more global fusion concept", Mr Smith said.

"He's recognised as a first class chef with experience in leading some of the world's best kitchens - it's a privilege to be working alongside him."

Mr Ryan's most recent accomplishment was securing the highest rating ever received from Australia's Eat and Drink food and wine guide principal, Christopher Hayes.
