History
No team has ever won the World Cup twice in a row.
All Black captain Richie McCaw said, after winning in 2011, a player had to go right to the mental edge to win the World Cup. That is going to be tough to do twice inside four years.
The All Blacks may have won the World Cup twice but both times it was in New Zealand.
Other teams
The other sides may be behind the All Blacks at the moment but will catch up. The sides in Europe suffer from club-against-country rows but with a clear window leading into the tournament, teams like France and England will become settled and play better.
Australia's youngsters must surely improve while the Springboks will have one last hurrah in them.
Pressure
Winning the World Cup is now everything in international rugby. Does anyone remember how many matches the All Blacks won from 2004 to 2007? It all got forgotten in the 80-minute combination of All Black and Wayne Barnes' incompetence.
The pressure is immense. Too much for many teams.
The All Blacks are going to be criticised for whatever they do in England. The English press, especially the tabloids, are going to see them as fair game.
Age
How old is Keven Mealamu? Has he got a Gold Card?
Tony Woodcock: fast approaching middle age. Dan Carter: good for about two games a year. Ma'a Nonu and Conrad Smith: they can remember Duran Duran.
Richie McCaw: he can move into his own retirement home any day now.
Too old, too slow.
Weather
The World Cup is in England. Two years ago, the country had its wettest year on record.
It will rain. No covered stadiums over there. The All Blacks struggle in the wet - check out Sydney and Wellington this year. In the damp, the game becomes about the referee and the always contentious breakdown.
Soft pool
Who do we play in pool matches? The equivalent of East Sri Lanka, the Falkland Islands, Zanzibar and Andorra.
Four easy games followed by a tough quarterfinal. Sort of like running the Otago masters 100m and then facing up to the Jamaican relay team.

Record
This team has not lost at home since 2009. Since Steve Hansen took over as head coach in 2012, it has lost just once. That was at the end of a long year when the team was knackered and minds were elsewhere.
The All Blacks simply know how to win.
Belief
With winning comes belief. How they beat Ireland last year defied, er, belief, but they just do not know how to throw in the towel. That will be absolutely critical in tight matches - and that's what you get at the World Cup. The total trust in team-mates will collectively bring a team performance that will always outdo the efforts of individuals.
Best players
Read, Kaino, the locks, Carter or Cruden or even Barrett, all three Smiths, Savea, Nonu, the returning Sonny Bill, and let's not forget about Captain Fantastic.
Sometimes, it just comes down to having the best players. Sport is full of side issues over team performances and successes, but the side with the best players usually wins.
More than any other team in the world, the All Blacks have the best players.
Experience
This All Black team is one of the most experienced you could get. McCaw and Mealamu have something like a million caps between them. Wise heads are a huge asset in the cauldron of a tough World Cup match. Especially in the loose forwards, where knowledge can overcome a lack of speed.
Motivation
No international sporting team should ever lack motivation.
But next year, the All Blacks will have it all to play for. The stadium of four million will be super eager for a win. Then the team itself is motivated by legacy and making history. Two in a row is a big driver to win the cup.
Opposition
The French are a shambles, the Springboks are too old and the Wallabies are too young. The Poms will bottle it in their own backyard and the Scots are a joke. The Irish will never beat the All Blacks, and the Welsh will have a brain explosion and not get out of their pool.
