Nitro Circus riders are set to soar in Dunedin on Waitangi Day, and so are food and beverage prices at Forsyth Barr Stadium.
Dunedin Venues marketing and communications manager Kim Barnes said the tour would feature 40 riders of motocross bikes, BMXs and skateboards, and included New Zealanders Levi Sherwood, Nick Franklin and Jed Mildon.
As the national tour stopped in Dunedin on February 6 - Waitangi Day - a 15% public holiday surcharge would be placed on all food and beverages.
A pie at the stadium cost $5 and a 330ml beer cost $7, she said. With the 15% surcharge, a pie would cost $5.75 and a beer $8.05.
There would be no surcharge on tickets, Mrs Barnes said.
People could bring in permitted food and beverages: bottles of water with seals unbroken, home-made sandwiches, cakes, fruit, special foods for dietary requirements, baby food and liquids and small boxes of fruit juice.
