Arrowtown School has raced to the top of the junior skiing ranks for the second consecutive year.
During last weekend’s National Junior School Ski Champs, held at Coronet Peak, the school’s pupils took out two of the three age categories — pictured, from left, are Jemma Shan, Charlie Reid-Dark, Sierra Rose-Arnold and Willa Glass, who defended the years 1-4 age-group title, while fellow students Lydia Skeggs, Isla Sinclair, Mark Harris and Erisson Hide won the years 5-6 trophy.
Over 160 kids from New Zealand and the world travelled to compete in giant slalom and dual slalom races across the three age groups — Coronet’s also due to host the Otago Southland Secondary School Champs on August 5.
