State Highway 6 was closed for three hours yesterday after a logging truck rolled at the roundabout outside Cromwell. A police spokesperson said the crash was reported at 11.55am. The crash closed the busy route until 2.55pm.
Sergeant Dylan Hannah-Jones, of Queenstown, said investigations were ongoing as to the cause of the crash. The scene was examined before the truck was removed. The driver was assisted by ambulance staff and taken to Dunstan Hospital to be assessed, but no injuries were reported.
