Action from the Green Island Junior Football Club's annual junior football tournament fundraiser, held at the Green Island fields.

Approaching its 40th year, the tournament attracts more than 1000 football players aged 5 to 13 each year. It also attracts about as many siblings, parents and grandparents to the sidelines.

They play mostly for Dunedin teams, but were joined this year by teams from Gore, Milton and Balclutha. ODT photographer Craig Baxter was there to capture some of the fun.
