The fundraiser was held for the third year to raise money for the cricket club’s upcoming upgrades to its cricket grounds which have not been used in years.
Farmers, cricket players, shearers and more came along to try out shearing a sheep to see who was the fastest competitor.
Organising member Brad Williams said the event was a success, raising about $11,000 for the club.
The event had similar competitor numbers to last year and he hoped to get more farmers along to future speed shear events, he said.
