A man who allegedly threw a Molotov cocktail at a police car and fruit at passing vehicles in Oamaru has been arrested.
The 33-year-old male was arrested at 2.05pm on Saturday on Thames St and charged with attempted arson and disorderly conduct.
There was no damage to the police vehicle.
He was due to appear in the Timaru District Court today.
