Millbrook property development manager Ben O'Malley said the lush, green turf was being pulled up from the 15th, 16th, 17th and 18th fairways as the course underwent a multimillion-dollar redevelopment and nine holes, the Coronet Nine, were added.
"It's turf with a history, turf that has been lovingly tended, fertilised and irrigated by a team of professionals for the past 15 years," Mr O'Malley said.
"Bill Clinton came here in September 1999, played nine holes and loved it, describing it as 'an enchanted land'.
"Word's got out already and people are queuing up to buy it - not only because it's in such good condition but because of its history.
"Imagine laying this in your back yard and getting out there for a few quiet practice chips with some friends. How much fun would that be?"
The greens were laid on sand, not soil, so it was "not that ideal" for lawns.
"However, if you've got enough space to set up your own mini putting green, it would be perfect," Mr O'Malley said.
The turf will be cut up and rolled ready to distribute during the first week in December only, but Millbrook is taking orders now.
Priced at $3.50 per sq m, with discounts available for larger orders, the turf would come with a bag of fertiliser, instructions on how to roll and look after it, and stacked on pallets for collection or delivery.
