A woman was injured after falling down multiple flights of stairs at a Southland racecourse on Saturday night.
A St John spokeswoman said one ambulance and one manager responded to the scene at Ascot Racecourse about 7.30pm.
The woman was assessed and treated before being transported to Southland Hospital.
She was said to be in a moderate condition.
