Steelwork has been mounted at the site of a new Dunedin multi-storey office space.

Work on the Accident Compensation Corporation building in Dowling St began last year and developed in partnership with Ngāi Tahu Property.

A Ngāi Tahu Property spokesperson said steel framing was now in progress at the site and the foundation work was expected to be completed in November.

Next on the agenda was the installation of structural steel and concrete precast walls.

This would be done in sections, from the ground level to full height, with the section under way indicating the full height of the building.

Installation would continue throughout the remainder of the year, the spokesperson said.

The multi-storey office is expected to be completed in the middle of 2025.
