One person has been taken to hospital with serious injuries after a car went off the road near Ettrick.
A Fire and Emergency New Zealand spokesman said crews attended reports of a single car crash in Ettrick-Raes Junction Rd about 8.10pm yesterday.
No people were trapped and firefighters assisted ambulance crews at the scene.
A Hato Hone St John alert said said two vehicles attended and took one patient was taken to Dunedin Hospital with serious injuries.
