The Wakatipu played host to the fifth round of the Benchmark Homes cycling series on Saturday.
Cyclists in the elite men's race completed laps of a 25km circuit, 129km course near Arrowtown.
Christchurch cyclist Hamish Schreurs won the elite men's race in 3hr 16min and Olympic track cyclist Lauren Ellis held off Invercargill's Laura Fairweather in a sprint finish to win the 103km women's race in 3hr 16min.
Timaru cyclist Reon Park won the 103km masters race in 2hr 45min.
