Pixies charm a new generation

Mia said she really liked the witch pixie and the trio of princess pixies riding their horses on the merry-go-round.

"They look so cool,’’ she exclaimed, pointing at them.

Olive said the reason princesses were the best was because they wore pretty dresses, even when they were small little pixies.

Toitu visitor hosts team lead Dushan Jugum said it was great to see how young people appreciated the village despite it being a historic exhibition from the DIC department store.

The museum tried to revamp the display each year to make it fresh by rotating which sets were used.

His favourite was the zoo display with the moving elephants and donkeys. The exhibition is open until December 23.
