A young Sydney woman has died after being stabbed during a domestic dispute with a man she knew, police say.
The 23-year-old woman was found in a Maroubra unit with a stab wound to her chest by emergency services in the early hours of Saturday.
She died at the scene.
Police believe she was killed by "a man known to her".
A police spokesman was unable to confirm whether it was her boyfriend, but the assault "appeared domestic."
A crime scene has been established and homicide squad detectives are investigating.
Two other young Sydney women were stabbed this week, one fatally.
A police strike force has been established to investigate the stabbing murder of a 28-year-old woman who was attacked at a unit at Kyeemagh in Sydney's south on Thursday evening.
She was taken to St George Hospital where she died from stab wounds to her stomach.
Investigators are looking at whether the murder is linked to the stabbing of a 30-year-old woman at Westmead on Thursday night.
She was stabbed once in the stomach and is in a serious but stable condition in Westmead Hospital.
Police say she is speaking to detectives about the Kyeemagh murder.
