The Otago Museum has developed a ''very positive relationship'' with the Otago Polytechnic School of Veterinary Nursing, which will result in more veterinary support for animals in the museum's Tropical Forest.
Through the relationship with the school, free on-call veterinary consultancy was now available for animals in the forest, a recent museum report noted.
Further chances to collaborate were being explored, museum officials said.
