Where are they now?
2012: A member of the Gore Youth Council, MacKenzie had travelled to Tamworth, Australia, after winning a Gore District Council student speech competition and had been involved in singing and dancing for more than 10 years. She hoped to be a lawyer.
2022: As a solicitor at BlackmanSpargo Rural Law in Rotorua, MacKenzie works with clients in the agriculture industry. She has law and arts degrees and was admitted to the bar in 2019. She still dances for fitness and says she plans to return to singing.
