Organised by new live media event production company, C and A Presents, in association with Paul Nicholls Entertainment — one of Los Angeles’ most prominent gay circuit party promoters — the plan is to ‘‘trace the rainbow’’ from the United States and around the world to Queenstown from February 16 to 22, before the party moves to Australia for Sydney WorldPride, the first Pride festival of its kind in the southern hemisphere.
In Queenstown, headliners include DJs Enrico Meloni (Italy), Suri (Spain), Arno Diem (France), Dom de Sousa (Australia), Fabricio Sans (Brazil), and Kiwis Jordan Eskra, Lenny Vibes, Charlie Charalamabides and Ian Balmacera.
They’ll be joined by drag artists Nina Flowers (Puerto Rico), Scarlet Adams (Australia), Laganja Estranja (United States), and Kiwis Anita Wig’lit, Nova Starr and Kita Mean.
Events include the ‘Contaqt’ opening party at Kawarau Bungy Centre and ‘Uniqorn’, the main event, at the Cargo Cellar Door.
